Riyadh Valley Company
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Riyadh Valley Company (RVC) is the commercial knowledge-economy and strategic-project investment arm of King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Its own institutional history records establishment in2010 by Royal Decree No.116 dated13/4/1431AH. It invests locally and internationally in growth-stage businesses to generate financial and strategic returns and connect university research and capabilities with commercial investment. The public royal-decree history establishes its university-company identity; an exact commercial-registration number and share-capital amount have not been independently verified. It is represented as a corporate Company investor, rather than an external private venture-fund manager. The venture portfolio spans biotechnology and healthcare, information and communications technology, sustainable resources, fintech, logistics and education. RVC also backs third-party venture funds, including deep-tech Abies Ventures FundII, and develops university-land projects for research, education, healthcare and other uses. Those investee funds are not RVC-managed fund closes. Its direct neuroscience relevance is the company’s own March25,2021 announcement of an investment in Australian Global Kinetics PtyLtd, developer of the Personal KinetiGraph objective Parkinson’s movement-monitoring system; ticket, stage and exact paying vehicle are unpublished. Corporate capital, university land, programme budgets and third-party fund targets are not asserted as new LP-fund cash raises. No RVC-managed closed LP vehicle has been verified. All seven currently published board members and nine published committee appointments are represented, with overlap retained as separate governance roles. CEO Khalid Al-Saleh is last explicitly confirmed by RVC in its September25,2025 investment release and by the university’s own industrial-engineering biography; continuing tenure beyond the last dated confirmation is qualified. This is the complete accessible named governance roster plus that source-confirmed executive, rather than a claimed census of private employees. Ten distinct authentic own-governance portraits and Khalid’s authentic university portrait are recorded. The website incorrectly repeats the same asset for Andrea Longhi, Faisal Alyemni and Sara Alhusaini; these three images are withheld pending identity-confirmed portraits. Exact director appointment dates and unpublished broader biographies remain unknown. The earlier May2025 chairman is not substituted for the current published chairman.
