Rapta
Rapta develops industrial AI and computer-vision systems for manufacturing guidance, inspection, quality assurance and production traceability. Its platform connects engineering, production and quality workflows and supports on-premises and air-gapped deployment for precision manufacturers, including aerospace, defense and medical-device businesses. Rapta is based in Lake Oswego, Oregon, and announced an East Coast headquarters in Cocoa Beach, Florida, in 2025. Its public team lists eight executives and five board roles, including founders Aaron J Brown, Matthew D Thornton and Matthias Daue. The company announced a $2.7 million seed round in June 2025 and an $8 million financing co-led by Voyager Capital and Access Venture Partners in September 2026. The September SEC filing reports a different equity-sold amount of $10,835,253, without explaining its relationship to the announced $8 million; it is retained as a disclosure rather than another financing. Rapta also received a $50,000 Space Florida Accelerating Innovation Award in June 2025 and was awarded $110,500 in investment commitments at the October 2025 Bend Venture Conference. Award terms and final disbursement are not independently established.
