Quantum-Si
Quantum-Si Incorporated (Nasdaq: QSI) develops semiconductor-based single-molecule protein sequencing instruments and analytical software for proteomics research and drug discovery. The operating company was founded in 2013 by Jonathan M. Rothberg. Its technology combines advanced chemistry, proprietary semiconductor sensors and AI-enabled analysis to identify proteins, protein variants and modifications. Its commercial Platinum and Platinum Pro platforms are complemented by ProteoVue software; the Proteus platform is under development, with prototype results reported in 2026. Products are for research use only, not diagnostic use. The public Delaware corporation was originally incorporated as HighCape Capital Acquisition Corp on June 10, 2020 and acquired the operating predecessor on June 10, 2021; that merger renamed the public parent Quantum-Si Incorporated and the predecessor Q-SI Operations Inc. Merger share exchanges and enterprise valuations are distinguished from fresh cash financing. Current own directories publish four executives, ten directors and two scientific advisors, with one executive also serving on the board.
