Play Money is an early-stage angel-investment marketplace operated by Play Money Studios, Inc., as identified in its current terms. Founder and CEO Cheryl Kellond and a six-person public team operate a platform offering curated pre-seed and seed opportunities, investor education and transaction administration. Accredited investors participate through separate special-purpose vehicles; Play Money’s founder explains that these are series of its top-level Clutch Capital LLC, which appears on investee cap tables. The operating platform, legal SPV issuers and individual member portfolios are distinct. Play Money’s terms expressly disclaim investment-adviser or fiduciary capacity; this profile does not identify it as a registered pooled venture-fund adviser. Its platform-sponsored portfolio spans healthcare, AI diagnostics, gut–brain virtual care, rehabilitation, climate and software. Current member holdings corroborate SideBy Care, but the underlying company amount, date and stage are undisclosed. SEC initial notices identify Clutch Capital series vehicles and offering targets, including the SideBy Care SPV and Play Money I/II; reported zero sales are not completed cash closes. Member investments, dashboard illustrations, founder personal portfolio totals and aspirational capital goals are not treated as the platform’s paid cash or fund AUM. Verified legal-series filings include eleven sponsored vehicles. Three report fully sold SPV subscription proceeds: Dyme Medical USD52,899, Redwood USD100,000 and Series X USD423,500. Eight other initial notices, including SideBy Care and Play Money I/II, report zero sold; their targets are not fund closes. These are separate sponsored pooled issuers and their subscription proceeds are not automatically company financing.
