Newleos Therapeutics
Newleos Therapeutics is a Boston-based clinical-stage neuroscience biotechnology company developing oral medicines for neuropsychiatric disorders. Its Roche-licensed pipeline includes NTX-1955, targeting GABAA-γ1 for generalized anxiety; NTX-1472, a V1a antagonist being studied in social anxiety; NTX-2001 (ralmitaront), a TAAR1 partial agonist being studied in substance use disorders; and NTX-1511 (basmisanil), targeting GABAA-α5 for cognitive impairment. These are investigational therapies, with efficacy and safety subject to clinical testing. Founded by Longwood Fund and neuroscience drug-development specialists Federico Bolognani and William Martin, Newleos launched publicly in February 2025 with a USD93.5 million Series A led by Goldman Sachs Alternatives. Timothy Noyes is current CEO, Federico Bolognani is co-founder and CMO, and Rohan Palekar became board chairman in July 2026. Christoph Westphal continues as a director after stepping down as executive chairman.
