Muna Therapeutics
Muna Therapeutics develops oral small-molecule medicines intended to preserve brain function in neurodegenerative diseases. Its MiND-MAP discovery platform uses spatial single-cell multi-omics and bioinformatics from human patient tissue to identify mechanisms of resilience to Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and other disorders, supported by structural biology and computational chemistry. Lead TREM2 agonist MNA-001 is in Phase 1 testing in healthy young and older adults to modulate microglial function for Alzheimer’s disease; a separate preclinical Kv1.3 blocker program targets neuroinflammation in Parkinson’s and multiple sclerosis.
