Kvanted is a Helsinki-based venture capital firm founded in 2023 by Maria Wasastjerna, Eerik Paasikivi and Axel Ahlström. It invests in early-stage European industrial technology, from pre-seed through Series A, with a particular focus on the Nordics and DACH. Its strategy spans industrial software and hardware, including physical AI and robotics, quantum and advanced computing, sensing, manufacturing automation, industrial energy systems and supply-chain technology. The firm supports companies bringing research and engineering into industrial use, where deployment, customer procurement and development cycles can be longer than in consumer software. Its published initial investment range of EUR0.5–3 million is a strategy guideline, not a disclosed ticket in any specific company. The legal investment manager is Kvanted Oy.

Kvanted’s first industrial-technology venture fund backs early-stage European companies across industrial software and hardware. The manager publicly launched the EUR70 million fund on November7,2023; transaction counsel separately confirms EUR70 million in capital commitments. This is the announcement date, not a newly inferred first or final closing day. The legal vehicle is Kvanted Fund I Ky. Its first closing took place in May2023, before the requested three-year window. Current August2026 compliance separately reports a EUR71.3 million fund size; it describes the same vehicle and does not establish an additional raise or a new 2026 close.
