Modi’in, Israel

KAHR Bio is an Israeli clinical-stage biotechnology company developing multifunctional biologic immunotherapies for cancer. Its lead investigational drug, DSP107, is a bispecific fusion protein that binds CD47 on tumour cells and engages the 4-1BB costimulatory pathway to activate T cells, while also seeking to reverse CD47-mediated suppression of innate immunity. Development currently focuses on advanced microsatellite-stable colorectal cancer, including combination treatment with the anti-PD-L1 medicine atezolizumab. A randomized Phase IIb study compares that combination with fruquintinib; ClinicalTrials.gov lists the study as recruiting, sponsored by the separate Australian entity Kahr Bio Australia Pty Ltd. Earlier clinical programs investigated other solid tumours and myelodysplastic syndromes. KAHR retains global rights to DSP107 and describes a clinical collaboration and atezolizumab supply agreement with Roche. DSP107 is investigational: an IND clearance permits clinical research and does not constitute marketing approval. The company’s comparative survival claims require confirmation through controlled trials.
