JetZero is a US aerospace company developing the Z4, a blended-wing-body commercial aircraft designed for roughly 250 passengers and routes up to 5,000 nautical miles. Its all-wing structure is intended to reduce aerodynamic drag and fuel use compared with conventional tube-and-wing aircraft; the company targets up to 50% lower fuel burn rather than claiming a demonstrated in-service result. It is building the full-scale Jet1 demonstrator with Scaled Composites and US Air Force support, targeting a first flight in late 2027 and commercial Z4 service in the early 2030s. The program also has defense applications and is developing manufacturing facilities in Greensboro, North Carolina.
