Hemispherian

Hemispherian is an Oslo-based clinical-stage pharmaceutical company developing investigational small-molecule medicines for aggressive cancers. Its GLIX compounds are designed to activate the TET2 enzyme and trigger cancer-cell DNA damage through an epigenetic mechanism. The lead oral candidate, GLIX1, is being developed with BioLineRx in a Phase 1/2a study for recurrent and progressive glioblastoma and other high-grade gliomas; first patient dosing was announced in April 2026. Its pipeline also includes GLIX5 for platinum-resistant ovarian cancer. These are investigational therapies, and clinical efficacy has not yet been established.
