HealthInnovations
Utrecht, Netherlands
Health Innovations is a Dutch healthcare venture investment manager based in Utrecht, legally identified by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) as Health Innovations B.V. Its own company profile dates the investment brand to 2007 and its first Health Innovation fund began that year; this is investment-history dating, not a separately verified incorporation date for the management corporation. It backed innovative healthcare businesses between 2007 and 2023 in digital health, healthcare services and health technology, with prevention, diagnosis, treatment and monitoring as practical applications. Its current own website explicitly says it continues to support existing portfolio companies and has no active fund for new investments. RVO also classifies its three Seed Capital vehicles as outside their investment periods and eligible for follow-on investments only. Published portfolio relevance includes MRIguidance MRI-derived bone imaging, Aiosyn digital pathology, STIL tremor technology and former holding LivAssured epilepsy monitoring; the own exit account explicitly describes Aidence as AI software for lung cancer detection on CT scans. The public directory names two operating investors and eight distinct fund advisers/supervisors, including separate fund-I and fund-II supervisory appointments; these fund governance roles are not inferred statutory directors of the manager. Dick Sietses remains on this own roster but is also explicitly a Capricorn Healthtech Fund II team member in January 2025, so his legacy portfolio affiliation is distinguished from an exclusive current full-time operating claim. Health Innovation Fund I B.V. and II B.V. each have an RVO-reported EUR8M investment budget including a EUR4M government loan. Health Innovation Seed Fund III B.V. has a EUR12M Seed Capital investment budget including EUR6M EZK/VWS loan; the original 2018 Fund III launch separately describes a broader EUR15M planned investment budget. These public-program budgets and allocations are preserved as such and not treated as verified private LP final closes or additional company financing. Legal fund vehicles are recorded with unknown final-close cash and exact closing dates. The manager is distinct from the similarly named HI-NL clinical innovation platform and unrelated international healthcare funds.
