Gaia Impact is a Paris and Nairobi investment advisory firm backing companies that expand access to affordable, low-carbon energy in underserved markets, primarily in sub-Saharan Africa and also Southeast Asia. It invests across decentralised energy systems, solar home systems, commercial and industrial solar, electric mobility, irrigation and refrigeration, and technologies that help energy operators manage equipment, data and costs. The team provides long-term equity support, strategic guidance and impact measurement from seed through growth. It developed Gaia Impact Fund I and serves as exclusive adviser and investment team for Gaia Energy Impact Fund II, whose regulated fund manager is Capital Croissance.
