Eureka Network AISBL is the Belgian international nonprofit association operating the intergovernmental Eureka research and innovation network. Its enterprise number is BE 0429.585.680 and registered office is Avenue de Tervueren 2, 1040 Etterbeek, Brussels. The international initiative began on 17 July 1985; the legal association acquired personality on 21 October 1986. Authentic French notarised statutes and the Belgian KBO register establish continuity from association d'EUREKA to Eureka Network, its current registered name since 6 September 2024. The Secretariat is part of this institution, distinct from unrelated Eureka venture managers and technology companies. The network supports international advanced-technology research and commercialisation by companies, universities and research organisations across 47 countries. Programmes include Eurostars, Innowwide, Eureka Clusters, Network Projects, Globalstars and Investment Readiness. Its AI and life-science relevance includes gMendel's genetic diagnostics project, which the company's 2023 review identifies as Innowwide-supported and completed in November 2023. A Eureka project association alone does not prove that this institution paid every national research grant or bought equity. Innowwide is an EU-funded market-feasibility grant programme administered by Eureka within the European Partnership on Innovative SMEs, rather than a separate company, LP fund or additional cash buyer. Latvia's original September 2022 government publication identifies Association d'Eureka AISBL as coordinator under European Commission grant agreement 101055476, signed on 20 June 2022. Standard support is up to EUR 60,000 for a six-month SME project, with an independent local subcontractor. Programme ceilings and consultant-reported awards remain distinct from actual paid-to-date cash and payment dates. The earlier Horizon 2020 pilot/CDTI consortium is not automatically the provider for a 2022 first-call award. Innovation Fund Denmark explicitly states it does not award Innowwide funding, so the programme is not duplicated as its national Eurostars contribution. The current Secretariat directory names eight managers. Its approximate 40 employees are not inferred as a full named roster. The sixteen published Belgian Chair 2026–27 people are separately scoped external representatives or support from BELSPO, Innoviris, VLAIO and SPW EER. Belgium's chair runs from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027, with Aziz Naji as published President. Former Swiss President Marc Pauchard is not represented as current President, although the October 2026 KBO register separately retains his statutory directorship. Brit Helle's daily-management appointment is 1 September 2021; migrated 2025 news timestamps are not appointment dates. The direct legal register supplies nine statutory directors. Differences between registry names Urs Gut, Rudolf Grasveld, Kyeong Je and Agnieszka Ratjczak and published board names Andreas Gut, Dolf Grasveld, Yeon Woo Choi and Agnieszka Ratajczak remain qualified without unsupported person merges. The official logo and 24 named current Secretariat/Belgian Chair portraits were visually verified. Eight statutory-only people have unresolved authentic-portrait and expanded-biography gaps. EU co-funding, membership contributions, grant envelopes and network-wide investment totals are institutional resources, rather than AUM, LP fund closes or newly paid company rounds.
