COFIDES
COFIDES is Spain’s public-private development-finance institution and statutory manager of several state investment instruments. Its exact commercial-company name is Compañía Española de Financiación del Desarrollo, COFIDES,S.A.,S.M.E., NIF A78990603, headquartered in Madrid. The published ownership split is53%Spanishstate and47%Santander,BBVA,Sabadell andCAF; these shareholders’ staff and treasury are not merged into its own institution. It finances internationalisation and sustainable-development projects and manages FIEX, FONPYME, FONREC, FOCO and FIS. FOCO is the separate Fondo de Coinversión,F.C.P.J., a public fund without legal personality with accounting segregated from COFIDES corporate resources; COFIDES is its statutory manager, not an interchangeable corporate-balance-sheet subscriber.
