Arialys Therapeutics
Arialys Therapeutics is a La Jolla, California clinical-stage biotechnology company developing precision medicines for autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders. It combines structural biology, receptor pharmacology and sensitive autoantibody detection to identify and block pathogenic antibodies in the central nervous system. Its lead investigational candidate ART5803 is a humanized monovalent monoclonal antibody designed to inhibit NMDA receptor autoantibodies in anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis and related autoimmune psychosis. Following healthy-volunteer Phase 1 studies, the company reported patient dosing in a Korean open-label Phase 2a study and FDA clearance for a separate randomized US Phase 2 study in June 2026. Arialys was founded by Avalon BioVentures, Catalys Pacific and MPM BioImpact, and purchased ART5803 from Astellas Pharma. The therapy remains investigational; trial clearance and regulatory designations do not establish approved efficacy.
