Russell Sprole founded Virta Ventures in 2022 and is its Managing Partner. His operating experience includes Full Harvest, Stem and SunPower.

Merit Cudkowicz advises Spinogenix on science. A neurologist and ALS clinical-trial researcher at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard, her work includes the Healey ALS program and the Northeast ALS Consortium.

Karl Kieburtz became Cerevance’s chief medical officer in October 2026. He is a University of Rochester neurologist and co-founder of Clintrex Research, with extensive Parkinson’s disease trial experience.
