Insight Partners source, reviewed October 8, 2026: Yoni Meyer is a Principal on the Capital Partnerships team, where he leads capital formation in Latin America & focuses on developing LP relationships. He joined the firm in April 2026. Prior to Insight, Yoni spent several years at HMC Capital, where he developed deep expertise across institutional investing and alternative assets as Partner & Head of Alternatives Distribution. Yoni began his career at Larrain Vial, one of Latin America's leading financial institutions, where he founded the corporate fixed-income research unit. He later transitioned to Institutional Sales, where he led the placement of proprietary and third-party investment funds, driving the consolidation of offshore fixed-income assets across institutional client portfolios throughout the region. He also played a founding role in the creation of Larrain Vial's first derivatives trading desk, significantly expanding the firm's offering of derivatives and structured products to corporate, institutional, and high net worth clients. He subsequently joined Credit Suisse as an investment banker, based across New York and Santiago, where he advised on financing and M&A transactions spanning Chile, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Yoni holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and a master's degree in Operational Management, both from Universidad de Chile. He also earned an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
