Tara Bishop

Tara Bishop co-founded Black Opal Ventures and is a managing director. She trained in chemical engineering at MIT, medicine at Cornell and public health at Mount Sinai. Her career includes clinical leadership at Surest/Bind, healthcare work at McKinsey and health-policy teaching at Weill Cornell. Current SEC filings also identify her as a manager and member of the advisory LLC.
