Insight Partners source, reviewed October 8, 2026: Soumya Pondugula joined Insight Partners in 2022. Prior to joining the Investment Team, she spent some time at Dalus Capital, an early-stage investment firm focused on emerging markets; she also has worked in private wealth advisory and in structured commercial real estate finance in the past. Soumya graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.S. in Finance and Cognitive Science with a minor in Data Analytics. During her time at UVa, she served as the CIO of the Virginia Venture Fund and was also president of her school's premier consulting group. Additionally, on campus, she was in leadership roles within Student Council and various South Asian cultural organizations. Soumya was born and raised in Northern Virginia. In her free time, she enjoys playing basketball and volleyball, exploring new board/card games, and experimenting with new recipes.
