Sheridan Laing

Sheridan Laing is publicly named by the Bionics Institute as head of research operations. Dr Sheridan Laing is Head of Research Operations and commenced at the Institute in 2021. PhD studies in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Melbourne and her career spans 12 years of successful delivery of applied and translational biomedical engineering research programs in academic, government and not-for-profit organisations. Prior to joining the Institute, she spent 9 years with the Defence Science and Technology group, undertaking and managing applied biomedical engineering research programs. Sheridan brings this experience and expertise to the Bionics Institute to provide project and operational support to the research activities across the Institute and to the Chief Technology Officer.
