Scott McPhee
Scott McPhee is a partner at MQB Partners and an entrepreneurial scientist developing novel medicines since the late1990s. He participated in early gene-therapy programmes for neurodegenerative conditions and initial central nervous system AAV trials. He was a founding executive at Asklepios BioPharmaceutical, acquired by Bayer in2020; co-founded Chatham Therapeutics, acquired by Baxter; and joined the founding team of Bamboo Therapeutics, acquired by Pfizer. He also co-founded Torque Bio. He holds a molecular medicine doctorate from the University of Auckland and a public health master’s degree from Harvard University.
