Sally Herring

Sally Herring is publicly named by the Bionics Institute as clinical research support team leader. Dr Sally Herring is the Clinical Research Support Team Leader at the Bionics Institute, and leads the Institute’s Consumer and Community Involvement (CCI) program. Since joining the Bionics Institute in 2022, Sally has supported the conduct and implementation of clinical trials across the Institute in a research governance role. As lead of the CCI program, Sally facilitates and supports connections between researchers and people with lived experience of the conditions being researched. Comprised of a CCI Coordinator, researchers, advocacy groups and lived experience experts, this program aims to integrate consumer expertise into all types and stages of research at Bionics Institute.
