Peter De Cruz

Peter De Cruz is publicly named by the Bionics Institute as clinical collaborator. Professor Peter De Cruz is one of Australia’s leading inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) specialists; he is the Director of the IBD service at the Austin Hospital and a Senior lecturer at the University of Melbourne. Professor De Cruz has been highly impressed by the depth and breadth of talent within the Bionics Institute and is excited about the prospect of turning dreams into reality. Research project > I feel incredibly privileged to be part of such a fantastic team that has taken a proof-of-concept from pre-clinical research, to a world first-in-human clinical trial to assist Crohn’s disease patients.
