Mike Payne — Synapticure publishes the following professional biography and affiliation: At Synapticure, Mike is focused on expanding access to the most effective treatments for patients with serious neurological conditions, whether those medicines are already on the market or in pre-approval testing. This mission is deeply personal for him, driven by the fact that neurological diseases represent the largest and fastest-growing epidemic the U.S. will face over the next 50 years, and informed by his own experience losing his mother to complications from Alzheimer’s disease in 2021. Mike leads the company’s strategic engagements with pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms, as well as major CROs, enabling them to leverage Synapticure’s specialized capabilities. These services include clinical trial outsourcing and enablement for both observational and interventional studies, RWE/RWD data collection and analysis, lab services via advanced organoid models, Expanded Access Programs for pre-market drugs, and Direct-To-Patient (DTP) programs for marketed products. Alongside his colleagues, he oversees every aspect of these initiatives, from initial business development and sales to final delivery and patient outcomes.
