Michael Schmelmer

Michael Schmelmer is vice chairman of Boehringer Ingelheim’s Board of Managing Directors, responsible for Group Functions. He previously led Finance and Group Functions and founded the BI X digital innovation laboratory. Earlier roles included the company’s CIO and technology leadership at Infineon. His qualifications include aerospace/mechanical engineering and industrial engineering.
