His team harnessed the power of AI to automate system refreshes, reduce human toil in global deployments, and strengthen the security and integrity of Microsoft’s intelligent corporate network. Prior to the acquisition by Microsoft, Mark was the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Nuance. In that role, he led the Global Technology Solutions group, which drove the effective use of information technology, security, and hosting to support agility and productivity across Nuance’s business divisions. With a strategic focus on supporting the company’s global customer base and delivering superior outcomes, Mark led infrastructure operations, core data services, business systems, SaaS delivery, information security, and internal and external hosting while continually driving innovation and a cloudfirst strategy. Prior to joining Nuance, he served as the Vice President of IT at Symantec Corporation and held numerous leadership roles at Cisco Systems. Mark earned a B.S. from the University of California, Irvine and holds an M.B.A. from California State Polytechnic University.
