A transformational leader in billion-dollar businesses, she works to step-change Mars Global Services and further fuel Mars growth. Marina has a proven record of building operating models designed to transform operations, IT, digital, data and analytics and business services into high value inputs to businesses and customers. This background positions her well to lead MGS – driving digitalization at scale and sustainable competitive advantage through technology and digital mindsets and behaviors. In this capacity, Marina also serves as the Mars enterprise functional lead for Digital Technologies. For the past two years, Marina served as COO of Itaú Unibanco, Latin America's largest bank and among the top 15 banks globally. She oversaw operations, customer service, sourcing, real estate, and non-financial asset management, turning data and transactions into outstanding customer experience, growth, and efficiency. Prior to Itaú Unibanco, Marina led the digital transformation in BAT as CIO/CDO, shaping and growing the business and embedding digital in BAT’s DNA. Motivated by purpose and an organization’s potential for positive impact, she guided the company in their mission to create A Better Tomorrow. She drove value creation as CIO for both PepsiCo Latin America and CIO for global Categories; and worked for ABInBev for 13 years in regional and global roles, including IT, digital, data & analytics, ultimately becoming global CIO and GBS SVP. She also worked with PwC Consulting with engagements in Latin America. Marina has served on customer advisory boards of key tech companies and numerous efforts to develop women in tech. She is a board member of All Funds (#1 leading global WealthTech platform specializing in fund distribution and related services) and of T200 (not-for-profit organization focused on developing women in tech) and a speaker on leadership, transformation, technology, and digital value creation. Marina has always focused on shared services, tech, digital and data enablement across both established organizations and large M&A – delivering revenue growth, efficiencies, talent development, and sustainability improvement. A Brazilian and Italian citizen, Marina is a proud mom to two daughters – Catarina and Victoria and French bulldog Charli – sharing a life of adventure with her husband Emilio. Marina and family enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, running and listening to music (at the same time) and of course – savoring Italian cuisine.
