Marcel Levi is a physician and professor of medicine who has led the Dutch Research Council since April 2021. His second presidential term began April 1, 2026. He previously led Amsterdam Medical Center and University College London Hospitals and held academic leadership roles at the University of Amsterdam and University College London.
