Magnus Agustsson, also published as Magnus Thor Agustsson, is Chief Risk Officer and Head of Risk and Compliance at Danske Bank. He joined the Executive Leadership Team in November2021 after serving as Chief Risk Officer and in other senior risk roles at SEB. His earlier career includes Nordic Investment Bank and risk-methods leadership at DEPFA and Hypo Real Estate. He studied economics and mechanical engineering at the University of Iceland and financial engineering at HEC Lausanne.
