Linqi Zhou is currently a research scientist at OpenAI. His own biography explicitly describes former Luma AI research and Apparate Labs co-founder work, with Apparate acquired by Luma. He previously studied at Stanford and UCLA and researches generative modeling; Luma’s author directory documents his earlier project-lead function.
