Larry Cohen is CEO of Gates Ventures, the private office established by Bill Gates in September 2008, and a Khan Academy board member. Previously he was Microsoft corporate vice president of marketing, having joined Microsoft in 1995 to work on its early online businesses. Earlier he held product-management positions at Apple/Claris and Collabra Software, which was acquired by Netscape.
