Insight Partners source, reviewed October 8, 2026: Kuran is a Vice President at Insight Partners, where he focuses on growth and late-stage investments across vertical software, global fintech, and data & AI, partnering closely with founders on complex financial, payments, and scaling decisions. Kuran brings particular domain expertise in payments infrastructure and has been closely involved in expanding payments capabilities across Insight’s vertical software portfolio. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Coda and is a Board Observer for Pomelo, and has supported numerous other companies across the Insight portfolio. Prior to Insight, Kuran worked in the Investment Bank at UBS, covering fintech companies and financial institutions, and led finance and accounting at Compass Coffee, a DC-based coffee roaster. He has also worked with nonprofits focused on financial literacy and microlending. Kuran graduated from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University with a degree in Finance and Operations & Information Systems and a concentration in Data, Systems, and Analytics. Outside of Insight, he enjoys exploring new restaurants and coffee shops, swimming, biking, and he makes a great cappuccino.
