Kirby Winfield

Kirby Winfield founded Seattle venture-capital firm Ascend in 2019 and serves as its Founding General Partner. He invests in pre-seed AI startups and helps founders navigate customers, recruiting and later-stage financing. Before investing he held operating roles in four startups with four exits, including two IPOs and two acquihires. His current issuer biography also identifies him as a director and investor in Bean Box since 2016.
