Julia Gillard
Julia Gillard chairs Wellcome’s Board of Governors and serves on its investment committee. She joined the board on12April2021. She was Australia’s deputy prime minister and first woman prime minister between2007 and2013, and later chaired the Global Partnership for Education. Her health and education governance work includes Beyond Blue and the Global Institute for Women’s Leadership at King’s College London.
