Jonathan Cosgrove
Insight Partners source, reviewed October 8, 2026: Before investing at Insight Partners, Jonathan worked as a private equity investor for Bill Ackman, investing in both real estate and technology companies. Prior to that, he was an investor at Citi on the enterprise tech team. Early in his career, he worked at the Hoover Institution where he conducted research for former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. His research focused on American policy toward the Middle East. Jonathan graduated with honors from Stanford University, with a master's degree in public policy and a bachelor's degree in political science and symbolic systems. Outside of work you can find Jonathan reading about geopolitics or trying new restaurants in New York.
