Jim Mao

Jim Mao is Founding and Managing Partner of Citta Capital and Managing Member of Citta Capital Management, LLC. He founded the venture firm in 2020 to back early-growth technology companies across AI, enterprise software, cloud and healthcare technology. He previously was a Partner at WestSummit Capital, where he led investing in enterprise, cloud, big data, AI, robotics and digital media, following executive roles in startup and established technology businesses. His current regulatory filing confirms his Managing Member role; his earlier director biographies describe five co-authored US patents and education at the University of Southern California.
