Jeff Himawan

Managing Director responsible for EW’s legacy Essex Woodlands Funds VI through VIII. He joined in 1999 according to the firm’s biography. His earlier career included scientific work at Genzyme and co-founding Seed-One Ventures. He holds an MIT undergraduate degree and Harvard doctorate. This published role concerns legacy funds rather than management of the current growth-equity strategy.
