James Potts

James (Jamie) Potts is Hakluyt Capital’s current founding and managing partner, based in San Francisco and responsible for investment origination and relationships with venture funds and founders. His own biography explicitly bridges the James and Jamie names. He joined the Hakluyt platform in2018 after Goldman Sachs Asset Management and ten years in the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, including work in Syria, China and the United States.
