Jacob Van der Wiel
Jacob Van der Wiel is a Managing Director at EQT, where he leads the firm's mid-market software and tech-enabled services coverage in Australia and New Zealand. Based in Sydney, Jacob works with EQT's investments in PropertyMe, Compass Education, PageUp, and Quantios. Jacob joined EQT in 2017 and based in the firm's Singapore office before relocating to Sydney. Jacob holds a B.B.A. in Accounting and B.A. in Asian Cultures and Languages (Chinese) with High Honors from The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining EQT, Jacob worked for Vista Equity Partners focused on enterprise software investing.
