Irv Bailey is Managing Director at Chrysalis Ventures, also branded Chrysalis Capital on its current site. He previously led Providian as chairman and CEO from 1988 until its sale to AEGON in 1997, after serving as president and chief operating officer. His earlier career included senior investment roles at Phoenix Mutual and Mutual Life of New York. The firm lists former board service at CSC, Hospira and NASBIC. He earned a BA from the University of Colorado and an MBA from New York University.
