Geneva Bass
Insight Partners source, reviewed October 8, 2026: Geneva Bass joined Insight Partners in 2024. She previously worked in early-stage venture at Integra Partners in Singapore and in asset management at Fidelity Investments’ Boston headquarters. She has conducted research in relativistic quantum cryptography with IBM Quantum’s Dr. Andru Gheorghiu and in mathematical neuroscience with Dr. Stuart Geman, inventor of the Gibbs sampler. Geneva graduated with a 4.0 GPA in Applied Mathematics from Brown University, where her honors thesis investigated satellite quantum cryptography with enhanced photonic efficiency. While at Brown, she was an Engineering Teaching Assistant, Co-President of Quantum Computing @ Brown, Startups@Brown committee member, and a contributor to the Optic photography magazine. She also organized and hosted over ten guest lectures, info sessions, and dinners for globally renowned scientists, founders, and artists visiting campus. Originally from Nashville, Geneva balances her interests in frontier technology and investing with glassblowing, beekeeping, and Great Pyrenees dogs.
