Franz Decker

In this role, he is responsible for the company's global IT strategy and drives digital transformation and technological innovation for the automotive group. He has held various management positions at the BMW Group for over 25 years, including in the areas of production strategy, manufacturing technology, logistics, and digitalization. Prior to his current role, he was President and CEO of BMW Brilliance Automotive in China, where he headed the company's largest joint venture. Franz holds a doctorate in production engineering and studied electrical engineering and information technology at the Technical University of Munich.
