Eric Shan joined 7wire Ventures as an associate in March 2026. The manager’s own biography says he completed three years of medical training at the University of Pennsylvania and held digital-health and early-stage investment roles with Flare Capital Partners, Springbank, Redpoint Ventures and Rock Health Capital. Previously he worked as a Meta quantitative researcher using causal inference, experiments and machine learning to study privacy. He holds a Wharton economics degree. The partial medical training is not described as a completed MD; an accessible primary portrait remains unverified.
