Eoin Duane

Insight Partners source, reviewed October 8, 2026: Eoin Duane is a Managing Director at Insight Partners. He joined the firm in 2021 and leads Insight's Opportunities Fund strategies, which invest in scaling enterprise software companies. Prior to Insight, Eoin spent 13 years investing in public and private software companies, including eight years at Guggenheim Partners and five years at the private equity arm of Elliott Management. He currently sits on the board of or oversees Insight's investments in APFM, Aptean, Advantive, CivicPlus, Kiteworks, Precisely, and Rithum. Eoin also serves on the boards of the Children's Medical Research Foundation (CMRF), a nonprofit focused on pediatric research and on the North American Advisory Board of his alma mater, the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from University College Dublin and a Masters in Finance from UCD Smurfit, and is a CFA charterholder. Originally from Ireland, Eoin has lived in New York for 20 years. He resides in Brooklyn with his wife, three daughters, and two beloved rescue pitbulls, Norma and Rachel. Outside work, he enjoys poker, chess, long-distance running, cycling, golf, and reading nonfiction.
