Derek T. DeScioli

Derek T. DeScioli joined ZAP Surgical as chief operating officer in 2021. His published biography describes more than twenty years in medical technology and business growth, including leading IntraOp Medical through restructuring and commercial development in radiation oncology. Earlier experience includes 3M, Soliant Energy, Alpha Technologies and Astrodyne TDI. He holds a graduate degree from MIT and an engineering bachelor’s degree from Rutgers. His photograph is an unmodified company-published image naming him at a ZAP-X installation, rather than a generated headshot.
