Chris Orndorff is the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chief Investment Officer of Cercano Management. Prior to founding Cercano in 2021, Chris was the Chief Investment Officer at Vulcan Capital, a private company started by Microsoft co-founder Paul G. Allen. Before Vulcan, Chris was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Western Asset, a Managing Principal at Payden & Rygel, and Second Vice President at Northern Trust. Chris currently serves on the board of directors for Bank OZK, one of the largest commercial real estate lenders. Chris holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, and a BS from Miami University. He is a CFA charterholder, and has published several monographs, including a book published by McGraw-Hill.
