Bill Miller

Bill Miller founded FirstMile Ventures in 2014 after operating and investing in technology companies. He co-founded StorageNetworks and served as CTO through its 2000 IPO; earlier ventures included CERAM and Krysalis. He also led enterprise-software companies XAware and Axellio. Before FirstMile he invested personally in technology startups. He studied chemistry at Illinois and began as a semiconductor process engineer, with patents in chips, memory and storage systems.
