Athena Karsa is a researcher with University of York doctoral work on quantum target detection, illumination and hypothesis testing. Partner Katie Lockwood’s2025public statement specifically thanks Dr Athena Karsa for helping screen Twin Path Ventures’ AI startup pipeline; Athena’s own professional profile names the manager. The public sources do not establish her exact investment-job title or whether this is employee, consultant or other support status, so no invented partner/director role is assigned. Her quantum research is distinguished from a claim that the manager or researcher operates an approved neurotechnology product.
