Arfan Ikram
Arfan Ikram is a physician, epidemiologist and professor who became president of ZonMw and a member of NWO’s executive board in August 2022. He also heads the Epidemiology Department at Erasmus Medical Center. His research has addressed dementia, stroke, brain ageing and life-course epidemiology, including the Rotterdam Study.
