Prior to that Anjana was the EVP & CIO of BJ’s Wholesale Clubs, a Fortune 500 company with over $20B in revenues where she was responsible for leveraging technology to optimize revenue growth while improving operating efficiencies. During her tenure as the Global CIO at Fresenius Medical Care Anjana drove a large digital transformation focused on improving patient experience and enabling care teams with digital tools and actionable insights to provide the highest quality of care. Anjana has led end to end business transformations at several organizations through her role as the Global CIO for Hillrom, Americas CIO for Alcon, several leadership roles at Novartis and CIO for Shire Human Genetic Therapies. Anjana has had the opportunity to take on some tough challenges and successfully drive large-scale transformations throughout her career journey. She is known for being a change catalyst with a penchant for inspiring, motivating and coaching teams to achieve uncommon results. Anjana strongly believes that information is a strategic asset that should be leveraged as a competitive differentiator. She has presented her ideas at various conferences and written articles about it. Anjana has an MBA from the Wharton School and a B.S. in Computer Science Engineering from Bangalore University, India.
